About IASC

The Irish Association of Seafood Companies (IASC) develops, promotes and represents the interests of independent seafood processors, wholesalers and retailers in Ireland. Established in 2002, IASC is a fast growing united voice for independents, already with a membership in excess of 90 companies.

IASC's core activities are to:

• Build the profile of independent retailers and wholesalers

• Co-ordinate effective member networking

• Provide information and training support

• Develop promotion and marketing initiatives

• Actively represent and lobby member interests

• Negotiate group savings and discounts

Mission Statement

"IASC is the voice of the Irish processors, wholesalers and retailers, providing a professional focus for the sector. It promotes and protects the interests and views of its members to Government, Statutory Bodies and the general public, also assists its membership in the continuing development of their business.

Through active representation and advocacy, development of relevant industry linkages and delivery of membership services, IASC will empower, promote and protects its membership, achieving a unified voice within the fishing industry".
